How FindMyTutor works
No agencies, no commission, no matchmaking fee. You find the tutor, you agree the rate, you start learning.
Browse verified profiles
Filter by subject, city, teaching method, and hourly rate. Read profiles, check qualifications, and review feedback from other students and parents. Every profile shows the tutor's own words — not a template.
Message directly
Contact tutors straight through the platform — no middlemen and no introduction fee. Discuss your needs, ask about their experience with your specific curriculum or exam board, and agree a schedule before committing to anything.
Start learning
Once you've found the right fit, arrange your first session. Students and parents pay the tutor directly at the agreed rate. FindMyTutor never takes a cut — what the tutor charges is what you pay.
What makes FindMyTutor different
There are other platforms. Here is why tutors and students across the UAE choose this one.
Tutors keep 100% of their earnings
There is no commission, no platform cut, and no deduction per session. A tutor who charges AED 200 per hour earns AED 200 per hour. This means you access better tutors — experienced professionals who would not work with platforms that take 20–30% of their income.
Always free for students and parents
Browsing, messaging, and connecting are all free. There are no subscription fees for families, no credits to buy, and no hidden costs. Every tutor profile and contact detail is accessible without paying anything.
Direct contact — no middlemen
You message the tutor directly and agree everything between you — rate, schedule, location, curriculum focus. No coordinator sits in the middle. No introduction fee. If your plans change, you work it out with the tutor.
All seven emirates, online and in person
FindMyTutor serves students across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, and Al Ain. Tutors offer in-person lessons, online sessions, or both — filter by what works for your schedule.
Frequently asked questions
Questions students and parents ask before connecting with a tutor.
How do I find the right tutor for my child?
Use the filters to narrow by subject, city, and teaching method. Read full profiles carefully — pay attention to which curricula they list (Edexcel IGCSE, IB HL, CBSE Class 10, EmSAT), their experience level, and the detail in their description. Tutors who are specific about what they teach are usually more reliable than those with vague profiles. Message two or three tutors and see who responds clearly and promptly — first impressions matter.
How much does tutoring cost in the UAE?
Rates vary by level and experience. As a rough guide: primary tutors typically charge AED 100–200 per hour; secondary and IGCSE-level tutors charge AED 150–350; A-Level, IB, and university-level specialists often charge AED 200–500 or above. Tutors set their own rates and you negotiate directly — there is no platform surcharge on top of what the tutor charges.
Are tutors verified?
Tutors who have completed our document review carry a Verified badge on their profile. Verification confirms that the identification and qualification documents they submitted have been reviewed by our team. Some excellent tutors have not yet submitted documents — the Verified filter lets you narrow to those who have, or you can make your own assessment from the profile content and any reviews.
Can I have lessons online or in person?
Both options are available. Many tutors offer either format — some prefer online, some in-person, some both. Use the Teaching Method filter to narrow the list. Online lessons work well for most subjects and remove travel from the equation entirely. In-person sessions are often preferred for younger students or for subjects like Maths where working through problems side by side is more natural.
What subjects and curricula are covered?
The full range of UAE curricula is represented: British curriculum (GCSE, IGCSE, AS and A-Level), American (Common Core, AP, SAT and ACT), International Baccalaureate (MYP and Diploma Programme, including HL Maths AA and AI), Indian curriculum (CBSE and ICSE), and UAE MOE schools including EmSAT preparation. Subjects include Maths, Sciences, English, Arabic, Languages, Humanities, Business, and more — from Year 1 through to university level.
What happens after I message a tutor?
The tutor receives your message and can respond directly through the platform. Most active tutors reply within a few hours. From there, you discuss your child's needs, the target curriculum or exam, and available times. If it feels like a good match, you agree a rate and arrange the first session. FindMyTutor does not invoice you, does not process payment, and does not take a fee — everything is arranged directly between you and the tutor.
